Manchester United supporters have demanded that Casemiro be sold because of his role in Crystal Palace’s opening goal. 

After a fantastic solo run, Michael Olise put Erik ten Hag’s team ahead to score a goal Andre Onana eventually cleared. 

The winger for Crystal Palace had picked up the ball halfway through United’s half, swerving past Casemiro as he lunged in and crashed to the ground. 

Olise hit the bottom corner after continuing to drive the ball into the area with time and space on his side.

Additionally, Casemiro’s underwhelming season has enraged United supporters on social media, with some demanding his sale.

One admirer said on X, “Casemiro needs to be sold,” while another stated, “Olise just ended Casemiro’s career.” 

Upon observing Casemiro’s slide, a third admirer said, “Olise sent Casemiro back to the favelas.”

Jan Age Fjortoft, a former Sheffield United striker, chastised Casemiro, likening the Brazilian to a youngster.  

“Casemiro is jumping in like a youth player,” Fjortoft wrote on X. Eriksen and Mainoo could not approach and tackle with the defense supporting them like a novice squad.

When Daniel Munoz pickpocketed Casemiro, the evening turned for the worse. After that, the Colombian played a pass to Olise, who scored with a powerful shot to give Palace a four-goal lead.
