Michael Olise dominates at Manchester United and puts the Red Devils on notice in the transfer window. Crystal Palace thrashed Manchester United, who will probably be interested in the winger come summer transfer season. Michael Olise scored two of Crystal Palace’s four goals.

As Crystal Palace celebrated ten years since Istanbul with another incredible victory over a major Premier League team, Michael Olise was outstanding.

Oliver Glasner’s high-flying Eagles will only suffer because Manchester United and other big spenders will be vying for the services of the French Under-21 international in the summer. On May 5, 2014, Tony Pulis’ team ended Liverpool’s title challenge after rallying from a 0–3 deficit at halftime. At a boisterous Selhurst Park last night, the outstanding Olise scored goals in both halves, eliminating any possibility of a comeback.

After a season marred by hamstring issues, he had a difficult start but has since made 12 Premier League appearances, scoring nine goals and dishing out four assists. Pre-match data from Sky Sports revealed that when Olise and the returning Eberechi Eze started teams with an average of 0.5 goals per game since January 2022, Palace’s win rate rose from 20% to 48%.

Beyond the stats, though, the 22-year-old, like Wilf Zaha in his day, generates excitement each time he touches the ball. On the field, he was the best player. Olise’s £60 million buyout has increased since Chelsea activated his £35 million release clause last summer. Olise chose to stay. If Antony is any guide, Olise is well worth the £82 million. Newcastle United has also long been a fan.

Gareth Southgate, a former Palace favorite, attended Kobbie Mainoo’s game last night. However, he must have wished that the Hammersmith star, whose parents are from Nigeria and Algeria, would declare for England.

Palace supporters chose the 3-3 draw with Crystal Palace as their favorite Premier League matchup ever. This victory won’t last long. After the game, Jamie Carragher asserted that Olise and fellow player Eberechi Eze would stroll into United’s starting lineup.

He declared: “Crystal Palace has two players who might easily fit into Manchester United’s squad: Olise and Eze. They have excelled under Oliver Glasner. Manchester United never appeared to be in the lead.”

“Congratulations to the team for the win,” Glasner continued. We didn’t play well in the first half. We opened the middle too much, which allowed them to locate the pockets, but we were incredibly effective and scored some excellent goals.

We made two or three adjustments at halftime, and the guys paid attention. We generated several chances, had much more control, and scored excellent goals in the second half. It’s a fantastic victory.”
