The Women’s Team of Arsenal Will Play at Emirates Stadium. Arsenal said on Tuesday that due to an “extraordinary” surge in demand, Emirates Stadium will serve as the women’s team’s primary home starting in the upcoming season.

With eight Women’s Super League (WSL) games and three Champions League games, assuming qualification for the group stages is achieved, Arsenal revealed plans to host 11 games at the ground for the 2024–2025 campaign.

The Emirates would also host the home legs of any Champions League knockout matches.

Arsenal’s Meadow Park stadium, located in the commuter ring of London, will host all remaining games, including all domestic cup competitions.

An average of little more than 52,000 people attended the six WSL matches held at the Emirates this season, including three WSL attendance records and two sell-outs.

“We have witnessed a remarkable surge in the number of fans attending games at Emirates Stadium, with two full sell-outs so far this season,” stated Vinai Venkatesham, the chief executive of Arsenal.

“The next phase of our journey is establishing Emirates Stadium as Arsenal Women’s primary home. We are excited to allow more fans to witness our women’s team compete.”

Jonas Eidevall, head coach of Arsenal Women, stated: “We have a special connection with our supporters, who have shown up in huge numbers and pushed us forward every step of the way.”

“Next season, Emirates Stadium will become our main home, and we are excited to play in front of bigger crowds weekly.”
