Gloria Hallelujah Woods was born on July 28, 1999, in Memphis, Tennessee. She grew up in a Northwestside neighborhood known as Frasier, an area of the city with a population of just over 45,000 people.
As a teenager, she attended several local high schools including Melrose, Martin Luther King Jr college Prepetory, and Ridgeway High. Gloria found her passion for music while singing in church where her religious mom took her four times a week.
Glorilla enjoyed the music at a very young age. She was a part of her church choir which made her consider a career in singing but unfortunately, she lost her voice and had to switch to rap. Glorilla has 10 siblings on her mother’s side and she is the eighth child.

GloRilla collaborated with Memphis-based producer HitKidd on a rap song, FNF (Let s Go), in April 2022, which became a huge hit, propelling GloRilla to newfound stardom. The songs have been watched and streamed across many platforms.
